I believe that pictures can talk more than the words do. You might forget what you or someone has said during a special moment or their memories might fade away but I believe photographs are the perfect medium to recall the exact feelings, emotions and atmosphere of the things happening at a certain point of time and that is what I do. I click them in pictures so that your memories stay with you, all your life!
I am a photographer who shoots with heart. I feel that I am completely blessed to have a career that I love with absolute passion. My profession is serving me as a personal journal of ongoing adventures as it allows me to meet people from all sorts of background, capturing them at the happiest and most memorable moments of their lives. I see things around in frames, every expression talks something unique to me and that's what I try to carve in my pictures. Though every frame has different angles to it, I think it's just an art to bring out varied emotions from a single scene. My specialty is in shooting in all sorts of formats such as candid, fun, posed shots with available light, capturing at special occasions when my clients at their best J!!
Before I take up any assignment I prefer taking complete details from my clients. I love hearing their stories around the photo session, their hopes, their dreams and what they look forward in these pictures.
I keep exploring various photography tactics. Learning through magazines, workshops, online forums and questioning experienced photographers is what I believe as an ideal way of improving my skills. I ensure that I am able to provide a fresh look for my clients. I soon plan to introduce a full-fledged online gallery or my art work and my collection of various moods and scenes that I and my camera have gathered through all these years of working as a professional photographer.
I like to work on long and hard projects. I want my work to feel like a living thing with many layered meanings, emotional range and depths of feelings. I put a lot of details while thoughtfully and carefully clicking pictures as well as afterwards while on the editing table and printing room. The constellation of particular details, the pictorial associations of the subject matter, structure, the colour themes, hues, patterns, texture, weather, atmosphere and every element in the frame give a picture a distinctive look and feel. I always look forward to building visual motifs out of these elementary details by weaving them together into what I say a series of deep inwardness through strange and beautiful appearances.
My first exposure with camera was when I was in high school. It was then when I took my first class my photo class. We made cameras out of shoeboxes :)).. It is absolutely amazing to recall my journey with camera since then and see how far I've come today with it. Up until few years ago, I enjoyed photography more like a hobby. I studied Economics, Psychology and Mathematics in College, and took art classes for fun and leisure, never imagining myself as a hardcore photographer. My dad was a mechanical engineer and my mom a school teacher. At one end I saw my brother growing into a competent Software Engineer, I would wonder what the destiny had in store for me. Photography just wasn't something I had thought of, it just happened. And now I am glad that only it happened!!
